As a Project Implementation Specialist for Epiphany Healthcare, I spend my days helping hospitals implement and upgrade our software. Being a customer centric company is one of many things that makes Epiphany stand out from our competitors. Recently, one of our customers had concerns while opening a new project. This 800-plus bed regional medical center along Florida’s Gulf Coast is among the largest public health systems in Florida.
They relayed to us that they were trying to get ahead of an upcoming audit where they needed to move away from all end-of-life versions of Windows Server. They asked if we could perform an expedited upgrade. They were willing to do anything necessary on their side to ensure we had all that we needed to accomplish the implementation.
Tough Timelines and Good Teamwork
In between our weekly calls, I emailed them requests, which were promptly fulfilled. I was given phone numbers for each of their team members with what they do so I could get in touch with the right person right away. I was able to start very quickly as they had new VM servers ready for me right after the first call. Any time I needed something, it was done within 20 minutes notice.
Normally, from start to finish, upgrades take around 20 weeks. We had the upgrade completed and ready to go live within 8 weeks. Not only were they very thankful for the way it was handled, but they thanked us for going above and beyond the norm to make it happen. They were able to meet their audit and not worry about this particular server.
Epiphany as a team can work miracles and get a project done quickly for our customers. Contact us today to bring on the next challenge!
